Mobile Food Pantry

The next Mobile Food Pantry at OUMC will be July 28. Food distribution will begin at 1:00 p.m. and continue until all food items ahve been distributed. If you are interested in assisting on July 28, please contact Gary or Vicki Sims.

Honduras 2012 Fundraiser

Help support the Honduras 2102 mission team by buying Spring/Summer flower bulbs. Honduras 2012 Mission Trip

The Honduras Mission team has prepared a list of items that they would like to collect to take to Honduras in December 2012. Items needed:

Child-size croc-style shoes
Child-size socks
Crayon packs
Small stuffed animals (Beanie Baby type)
Soccer balls
Medical Supplies (ensure expiration dates are current/future)

Vitamins
Cold and Allergy
Band-Aids
Antibiotic creams

Missions Opportunities

The Missions Committee is searching for someone to lead the Mobile Food Pantry at OUMC. Contact Gary or Vicki Sims at 765-366-1819.

There is an opportunity for someone to head up the Benton, Fountain & Warren Counties Habitiat for Humanity. If interested, contact Mike Link.

The local group working on the Food Resource Bank project is looking for people to serve on an Education committee and on a Harvest Celebration committee. Please let Mike Link know as soon as possible if you are interested in serving on either committee.

A working mission trip to Ironwood Springs Camp in MN (Bob Bardwell's camp) is being considered for this summer for youth and/or adults. Let Mike Link know if you are interested.
